Thread: ThermoTec minimum temp adjustment

can anybody tell me how to adjust the minimum warming temperature on the ThermoTec?
It wont go below 15 and as much as i love these fish, its not happening this year.
My plan is to set it at 8 and have it hold stable over the winter.

The 15 degree C is a factory setting and can be changed. However, it is strongly recommended that you do not set the minimum temperature below 10 degrees as it can have repercussions on the heat pump.

Curious what others are doing this year?

I expect they are worried about your condenser freezing up, i am unsure of your model spec, does it have a heater or able to back gas to defrost the condenser fins ? thanks for providing the info for those with thermotecs.....

nothing additional just the heat pump.

looks like they will be getting 10c rather than 8c.

Pond has been holding at 12c on its own 3/4 covered so far.
