    Late autumn feeding strategies.

    Sorry for the dreary KOI.

But that very small KOI gave us a hint of the maximum size of that KOI.
I realised that the key to making the most effective difference in this process was how to feed into the late autumn.

●Red gives high protein and colour enhancers.
●Orange is usually food, such as balance.
●Yellow is a temperature zone that needs to be taken care of, but the most senior people who seem to retain only large KOIs skip that and start feeding from orange, but in my case I restarted feeding from mid-May when there was no return of cold weather.
●Green is in the same temperature range as yellow, but how well food is fed here while maintaining digestion and keeping the summer appetite intact will directly affect finishing and body build, especially thickness from the back to the tail tube.

※And so, before I came to the UK, I was obsessed with looking at the articles I saw in magazines at the time about top hobbyists who spent millions to grow KOI and applying them to KOI, which was only £2.

Naoki, you are about 2 months too late. Most peoples ponds even covered and unheated are in the grey area and have been for the past month. My pond is at 14 and has been around 13.5 to 14 for the past week or so but has not been over 15 for probably 3-4 weeks. This just highlights the temperature difference between here and Japan and why your feeding patterns are not relatable to us in the UK. Perhaps give it a rest on the comparisons and just let us do our thing

Just received the Medikoi wheatgerm so they’re now being fed if they're actively looking for food.

I think the balance is fine.
The policy is to give them food as long as they intensely seek it.

If appetite is maximised during the summer months, it is more likely to be maintained as water temperatures gradually decrease.
The temperature difference is used to clothe the subcutaneous fat and increase the TSUYA and TERI in the finish and to build up the physique, for example by building up the FUKURIN.
