If you can achieve a doubling of growth in the first year, we will be able to exploit the maximum size potential of that KOI.
What is the maximum size of Adam's British KOI - 75 cm or 80 cm? Or perhaps over 90 cm?

Thanks for the nice comments, Just to add, I was heated at 24c, I did feed every hour, every day for the duration. I did miss 3 weeks feeding when we had those storms a while back and the poly tunnel got trashed and a few other days here and there when treating for parasites etc.

I'm expecting the Mukashi to reach 80cm minimum, if not 90cm. When it goes in my main pond that's also heated for 9 months I'll still be feeding at the maximum I can.

It's really murky at the moment, changed food and it;s destroyed the water, not quality but really discoloured.

I'm rarely over Norwich way, but maybe I will head over spring time. I spent all year looking for a momoiro koya san acer with no luck in garden centres I visited, do you stock these at yours?
