    Love the Shiro.

Have you bought the lighter coloured Goshiki? Looks stunning.

As for the GR Shiro, that's very nice too, I also have an Omasako GR Shiro bought from Gatwick a couple it months back. Mine was a Chibi Nisai at 24.5cm, now about 28cm but the Sumi has taken a hit.

yeah the Shiro is what i went for, the skin and shiroji is just on another level to anything i have brought before.
when you hear people talking about body shape skin etc over pattern well i totally get it now. I dint even look at the pattern, it just stood out in the vat from the others.

yeah i brought the lighter GR Goshiki as well, had 5 in the bowl, narrowed down to those 2 and couldn't make a decision as i loved both of them.

The Omasako GR Shiro just took my fancy as something a little different, not sure what will come of if, skin is not even white, has a blue tinge, we will see.

they all definitely need fattening up, i imagine they have not been fed much being transported, quarantined by Gatwick Koi and then by me for a few months.

    Had to look Chibi up

They always need fattening up when bought from him!

Same reasons for my GR Shiro purchase - went in there for something else and this little Shiro just stood out in a vat of 300 odd fish. It was as if each time I walked to that pond it is the only fish I could see - just had to have it. It was really heavy with Sumi but unfortunately it completely dropped off a week after going into my pond, hopefully will come back.

When I visited there was also a Shiro in the main pond to the right of the front door that really stood out a mile from anything else in the pond, so much so in fact that I looked it up on the website while in the shop and if nothing else it proved what a difference viewing a fish in person really makes because on the website it didn't look any better or any worse than the other Shiros, but in the flesh it was something else. This was a couple of Months back now but I do wonder if it was the same Shiro you have bought.
