The problem with British breeders take cuttlebrook for example there starting to charge around the same price as Japanese fish for the same if not in my eyes worse examples of fish as you say that have been extensively flown half way around the world hope adam doesn't follow suit

Their TANCHO SHOWA, which was recently introduced, is quite good even on the Japanese market in terms of quality. However, the price was controversial, but as long as there are people who want it, there is no room for us to interfere.
More than that, the TANCHO SHOWA was one example, so they must have a lot of siblings of similar quality. If they are sold at a reasonable price, they are a good target, aren't they?Last edited by Naoki Atsumi; 14-05-2022 at 07:50 PM.

They don't look like great fish to me, they seem ok but not one in that video I'd go out of my way to buy. The price probably reflects the quality.

It's a good opportunity to learn if there are a lot of second- and third-choice grades available that are similar to that one. It is as we are usually exposed to famous Japanese breeders. However, I have not seen them yet.
