depends what temperature your at by early summer?
i would rate multi season for winter (october to may ) but once temps are over 14 - 15C i'd be back on the balance.

though i think Ricky said in a previous question time video he doesn't rate saki multiseason,
to which people replied it would now be on sale everywhere as no one will buy it

though his view on koi keeping can sometimes seem unwittingly skewed towards commercial koi keeping...
not everyone has there pond in a gigantic poly tunnel...

I may ring them and change the order then and I'll by pass my meter and run the pond at 24 degrees all over winter

Now all of a sudden everyone is buying saki foods, my latest orders have come with 2024 expiry dates, so plenty of time to get through 15kg.

As most already know, I'll feed saki balance down to 8C, and my koi will be actively asking for food down to that temp, maybe down to 6C where they'll get earthworms and frozen mussels.

i didn't have the best start with 3 months of fluke treatments this spring, but she has grown to 57cm.
hoping to hit the magic 60cm mark before the end of the year...

Superb growth mate, that really is a chunk of growth to add onto a koi that was already a fair size.

How much were you feeding per day in summer?

Get her to 70cm and you can post on the 70cm thread Saki Hikari Summer Feeding Strategy

    Cheers RS,
    I was feeding 300g a day for 5 yonsai and 6 nisai.
    And still am atm.
Though i will start dropping back a bit when temps dip below 20C.
Going to be end of next year if i'm lucky to get her to 70cm..

This might seem a bit premature...
since i still haven't decided what winter food i'm going to feed if i drop below 10C...

this summer i fed around 300g a day, based on their size and weight worked out to be around 2% body weight per day. and needed 30kgs of food for 3 months.
with another 15kgs for the 2 months either side of 'summer'...

so i've been working out what i'm going to be feeding next year, and how much i'm going to need.
but at their now increased size and weight working on 2% a day i'll need to feed around 500g a day =15kg A MONTH!
