Would pond run ok with out moving bed

Hi looking to change my setup this year and looking at my options will be putting in a bottom drain and going gravity fed but for now as space is tight , I run a tempest to the moving bed then return to the pond could I t off the tempest and run a shower and moving bed ? Or other option I have is to take out moving bed for now and run with just a shower and easy pod . Please what are your thoughts good and bad .

I built an 11,000 gal pond over the last couple of years, pond has been running a little
over a year now with drums and anoxic chamber only. So far so good! And no noise either!

You could look at anoxic baskets.

The new pond will be ~14,000 with a drum, an anoxic filter chamber and airlifts.

If space is a tight as he says ie the need to run without mb am not sure he will have the space for the anoxic filter

You could put a shower on top of the bio,so,bottom drain going up to shower via the tempest which pipe work would have to go up anyway, through shower into bio pumped to return.

Need 2 pumps though, but your footprint would be just the bio.
