Very happy with my solum 25 and couldn’t fault it. I switched the screen to higher micron, super clear water and had a 20k pump at 55% and 30k pump at 95% with 25 minute cleans.
It is for sale now but only because I closed the pond and would recommend highly for the value and availability of parts…

Only thing keep the controller box out of the rain. The controller is common to all the models.

Ive been running the Solum 16 for a year , now , and really happy with it .
A couple of weeks ago , I had an issue with a leak that developed on part of the pipework . I messaged them , and received the replacement parts the next day .Colin

Thanks Dave,
Iv only got a small pond 1300 gallons, I thought it might be a bit on the small side, I’d be looking to at least have double the filter capacity to pond volume.

I just made my own moving bed to come off the Draco alongside my shower. Better to over filter than under.
My drum is still for sale …… cough cough!!!

I had a power surge that fried my controller unit but I was under garuntee and Tony was brilliant . Repaired it and sent it back to me within 6 days.
Taking his advice I put a surge protector in circuit before it as mine is powered off a plug socket. tenner of the net for a decent one .
Cant fault them and once you have a drum you realise how you ever lived without one !

a lot of people are put off by the 120 micron mesh screen,
but honestly my water is gin clear, i'm very happy with it.
a lot of the smaller particles in pond water will be algal diatoms that get killed by the UV and settle out.
but diatoms can be as small as 20 microns. and no drum will catch them....
