    BHM submerged in multibay

Has anyone used BHM or any other make of bakki media in a multibay submerged.

Just wondering on the results as the claim is proper BHM outperforms all other media submerged- quite aclaim I know but does that involve taking out nitrates too

    no idea on the BHM...
i assume they have independant (not paid for or sponsored) scientific data, not just anecdotal evidence, to back up those claims...?

i like the media with infrared gamma irradiated unicorn tears,
that instantly neutralises ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, copper, chlorine, cadmium, barium, zinc, lead, and makes the water sparkle like the blessed pure light of heaven.

i ran my old pond with 100 litres of CSM submerged, and to be fair i didn't overtly notice nitrate reduction.
but considering the small size at 1000 gallons it never had high nitrate either, @ 10-20ppm about the same as the tap water...
and after my CSM has matured in the new shower,
i intend to replace the K1 micro in the submerged Bio with more CSM, due to it's massive surface area...

ha ha ha yes they do make out its a miracle cure to everything - very QVC

Just wondering as I want to upgrade my queni koi bhm media in my shower with more momotaro then I thought I would put the quenni koi shower medi ain the multibay instead of the alfragrog.

Lots of people on here say the grog reduces nitrate though but thought if the quenni ko media does then its a simple swap.
