    KoiMasters Advantage not clearing

    Hi,

Anyone got any experience with this?

Says it should clear in 24 to 36 hours but over 3 days now and it's still cloudy.

Fish look great and Sumi really popping and they are feeding immensely but expected it to clear by now.

I'm on a drum so not sure why it's not cleared.

Anyone any ideas, is it normal?

    Cheers.

I’m using breeders secret at the moment if I over dose the recommended it takes a day to clear but generally it clears overnight.
Are you turning over enough water through the drum?

Would have thought that would have cleared going through a drum

    Me too but it's not.

Which leads me to another question....

I have a variable set depth for the sensor on the drum and wondering if it should be set higher, i.e washes are more frequent.

How often should the drum be set to clean?

I have a oase drum so it cleans ever 20 mins unless it blocks and triggers a clean.
I haven’t really changed the height of the sensor since I first set it up, I can’t really see it would help though if it’s not blocking.
Have you a lot of air going into your pond may not be letting particles settle out.

Maybe try pressure washing the mesh on your drum?

I find using clay really clogs the mesh up in my drum, which In turn slows the flow through the filters.

I use the jet wash every month or two to give the screen a blast which helps
