    draco screen change

    Anyone changed the screen on a draco? Was it a pain to do?

    I have, itís was pretty simple to do actually.

    Just make sure you pull it tight after the first clamp.

    from what i can work out theres 2 round plastic clamps each end, 1 straight bar im thinking that holds the screen in the middle then 2 straight bars that clamp the 2 ends of the screen together? Is that right?

    If people from the future have found this thread, ive just done it changed it to a 77 micron from a 58 micron, it took me 20 mins with water still going through the drum but with the drum switched off. Very easy after a read of the links above

    I too have done this, and also gone from 58 micron to 77 micron. I'm absolutely useless at anything DIY and whilst it appears daunting if you've not done it before, it was really easy.

    The advice I was given by Draco was when applying the new screen, attach it to the drum first before unrolling it, and then unroll as you roll the drum round and lay the mesh on.

    As the saying goes, if I can do it, anyone can!
