Would this be ok for treatment/inspection?

Simple answer, yes
Longer answer yes but it's quite large for inspection and treatment. You can get purpose made smaller diameter flexible pop-up inspection bowls with mesh covers at nearly twice the price.

I used one of those that manky linked for a temp pool 1 winter when my timber pond was failing they are great quick and secure with the zip covers and big enough depending on size you go for.. I got mine from mankys link cheapest around beat ebay and amazon
