Bet you were glad when you removed it and you could finally sit down.

Hope you gave it a good wash before using it in a casserole

He has proved that colour enhancers work well on Byer's KOHAKU!
    https://youtu.be/W38Gt37oDGw?list=PL...JWp4OKmU&t=894

I've seen some of the early combinations, but then they seemed to be of a type that naturally turned deep red later on.

The very recent ones are in the same vein as SAKAI HIROSHIMA.
This means that the purchaser must be able to use the colour enhancer in the most effective way.

    I found something quite interesting.
    https://youtu.be/VZwqPupX1sk?list=PL...CujUKhZW&t=404
It is NAKAYAMA KOHAKU of SASEBO in NAGASAKI which draws blood of old YAGOZEN.
It is a very old-fashioned and endangered species, rarely exported abroad.
It is currently a pinkish BENI, but it is an old-fashioned BENI that will eventually turn deep red naturally without the use of enhancers.

On the other hand, here is a typical SENSUKE BENI KOHAKU, which is current cutting-edge trend.
    https://youtu.be/0nbABsKAJlY
The name of the breeder is not given, but we thought it would be easier to understand.
This type of BENI is very sensitive to colour enhancers and will not turn deep red unless they are used.

If you can understand the difference, you will know what is the best choice of food to feed.

Hi Naoki San......I think you lost their interest to ribald humour, which is a shame after the effort you made to elucidate on the 'real' points of interest of our beloved Koi! So many "enthusiasts" here in the UK are more interested in the shiny bits & pieces that they can spread out in a 'filter house', then spend most of the season complaining about "yet another Fluke attack", a real shame & lost opportunity(s) for enjoyment of the object of our great affection!

Maybe if he hadn't spent so long telling us what we were all doing was completely wrong but not what we should have been doing instead then maybe more people would listen to what he has to say. He's always going on about what people he knows in Japan or wherever are doing and not what he's doing. Never posts photos of his set up or fish and too quick to comment on other's ponds, feeding habits etc. It's amazing how many of us have been keeping our fish alive for as long as we have by doing nothing right
