Sounds like my shed draws lol. Thought it would have said in the tube like.
Can't say I wasnt a bit nervous cutting a massive hole in my liner like used a whole tube and a bit just in bottom drain/flange/liner. IT WILL NOT LEAK I FORBID IT

So am hoping 16 hours will be enough to cure as the heavens have well and truly opened and put it this way don't think I'll have to get hose out to fill the pond!!!

Very much depends on how thick you’ve put it on, I left mine four days to be sure but have used it on tank connectors the same day with no leaks

Rain has finally stopped. Bottom drain Dome completely covered!!! In for a penny and all that I've turned hose on it'll work or it won't only time will tell.
Haven't finished the filter yet so gunna fill to top of 4inch pipe (just over half pond depth) and see if it drops over night. Busy busy with hospital appointments this week so probably be very little done till at least Thursday if am honest.
Still gotta sort out all my returns
Make the stand pipe valve
Drill new holes in multibay
And wire new sockets up before I can move fish back in to have my grow on cleaned out ready for new arrivals of fry in think about 2/3 weeks!!?

Glad it's holding for you AJ and really happy for you being so happy with how the new pond is going
I'm the process of planning a new pond, like you proper koi pond going to be around 32,000 LTRs ( if I can persuade the missus to let me take that much garden) racking up brownie points letting her buy furniture and carpets, also a few white lies about the cost but we all do that,,,,,,, don't we? Lol

Wish I could have gone complete new pond like but this will do once I iron out all the little things. First build it was just a puddle with a pump dropped in bits or wire and hose allover.
So adding the bd, skimmer, mid level returns, better electricity set up, tweeked filter, future shower and inline heater. Still not the best pond but my best pond

The way I look at it is there are always better ponds and better fish but like you say, it's yours and as long as you get enjoyment that's all that matters.
As a young surfer I used to get really frustrated that I couldn't pull off some of the moves others where making and a old surfer said " don't worry so much because the best one out there is the one having the most fun" he was right and I have tried to use that in everything in my life so the best pond is the one the owner gets the most pleasure from regardless of size or fish quality IMO
