After other opinions before I go ahead with it

As some may know I recently built a tampest type filter, but with 2 upright tubes as apose to one, was thinking today if maybe filling one tube with bakki house media, so it would be like a bakki River instead of bakki shower, just wondering if it's worth a go, probably mankey Sankey would have a decent idea on if it's worth the money to alter it, not being condescending to others but not sure how clued up everyone is on these types of things, as don't follow every thread created on here, thanks for any advice or thoughts anybody has After other opinions before I go ahead with itAfter other opinions before I go ahead with it

Won’t it just get clogged up with no way to agitate clean?

Maybe because they’re not used for the reduction of fines in the same way that a tempest is designed for I’m guessing?

Sorry I didn't make my plans clear, it not just to remove fines, I was thinking a filter system for fry tank or quarantine tank, a all in one type thing k1 for solid, bhm for bacterial side

    Stuffy,

    Yes, it will work.

Someone has already tried it, on a larger scale:
