Think my fish are pri Madonna's lol
I'm still having problems with waste in corners so experimenting with airstones, problem is my fish go nuts when I turn them on. I thought maybe vibration from air pump ( housed in locker on pond side) so I used neoprene rubber to insulate the pump from locker, no difference.
Any ideas? Should I just leave them on for a while see if they calm down?
Truth is I don't like seeing them upset so just turn pump off rather than have a problem

Hi AJ , there is no way on pump to change pressure but I guess I could try to pinch the supply pipe a bit, I'll try that tomorrow.
Do you think maybe little and often so they get used to it?

Are the air stones causing vibrations? That can upset them to.
You are right though - they are all pri-Madonna’s

if your have problems with waste collecting on the bottom, could you try getting more water circulation in the pond?
have you got a bottom drain aerator to turn up more, and how big is the bottom of your pond and number of drains?

No bottom drain Dave in pond pump which I have modified and now clears 80% of the waste. What's left ends up in the corners behind waterfall.
That's why I'm trying airstones to move it out into main flow where my main pump will take care of it

Tried low pressure to air stones on and off all day yesterday fish still going mental so giving up on them but Dave's post have me a idea thanks Dave
I had a small (750ltr pH) pump from a water feature, I modified the outlet to take a T pipe with pipes running to 2 corners where waste was collecting pond is now cleaner than I thought I could achieve.

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
