    Fish and temp help.

Hi people, I am supposed to be picking a fish up today that has been kept in temps between 10 and 12c, but my pond temps have dropped to 6c, will it still be safe to pick the fish up.

    Hi Steve,
If the opportunity to hold off is available I would do that. Any more than 1-2 degrees difference will likely cause swim bladder problems.
Especially if going from warm to cold.
    Cheers
    Ady

Thanks lads. I didn't pick the fish up in the end, but did buy it, a nice Nisai Kujaku with a flowery pattern, along with a Tosai gin rin chagoi. I've never bought fish from Chosen Koi before, but have got to say his set up is great and didn't see a bad fish there, plus his jumbo's were amazing. I can see some return visits coming up lol.
