    Deep clean

As tbe weather was nice today I done my first deep clean of the year filters, and windows cleaned. I couldn't find my instructions on how to clean my bead filter so I've left that for now ill have to hunt for it over the next few days so that I can do that too. I noticed that the pond has a lot of long string algea growing. Whats the best way of getting rid of it. Im also guessing I need to change the bulb in my UV filter as it's now almost 2 years old. I didnt replace it last year as I moved house and only put it on gbe temporary pond for a couple of months

Aqua source Resolve for blanket weed, talk to Gazkoi on here.

New uv bulb would definitely be a good plan.

Thanks will replace the UV, I'll check the pond over properly to see.how bad the blanket weed is before adding any chemicals to the pond. I did notice ghat one of my fish has some lumps of white stuff on its body and fins seems to be swimming and eating ok but not sure wht it is and if I should be concerned or need to treat with anything
