    Superfish 12000 Inlet??

    Pump is 15000

Dose any one know what size of female threaded connector for the inlet of the pump. I want to run 2inch pipe but lost this piece on the inlet of the superfish 15000..

And also what connectors to drop the 2inch to 1. 5inch for the tmc uv and back up

I would look at rubber boot connectors for joining the pump, that way you can get an array of sizes to fit and make it easy to get the pump off if needed. I have twice had to get to mine after the filter floss got drawn in as the basket tipped in my skimmer line and as its just a rubber boot it took a minute to sort.

Thought about it for uv so that's probably the way I'll go. As for the pump it's a male threaded would the rubber boot still seal around there?

Yes mate, I used plumbers tape to wrap between the thread to level it out then once it was all level attached the boot and had no leaking, in fact with any pipework that involves male and female threads you will want a load of plumbing tape!

Look on the bright side, although its heartbreaking to lose the 3 you lost, you now have to re balance the pond with 3 new koi! Any news on the pump or is it shagged?

    Hi mate,

    Thanks for the question.

I have sold a good number of the EA pumps and can honestly say there have been no product issues to-date. I also use them myself.

I cannot vouch for EA aftercare, however I can mine.... I operate on a no quibble basis and do not have unhappy customers, as to me it is always customer before sale.

Whenever I do get any product or manufacturer aftercare issues, these will either be taken off sale going forward or the customer will be advised of any adverse experience in order that an informed decision can be made.

I truly believe operating per the above helps to set my small business apart from the bigger guys and continues to drive repeat and referred custom, whichI am delighted about.

    Cheers
