Aeration in pond
Just been talking with someone he changed is aerated dome he had a metre length of 1 inch pipe on back side of pond out of site in the pipe were stainless air taps 6 I think and he had a ceramic air stone on 6 mm air tube on each at slightly different depths it didn’t spoil view of fish and he said is fish have never looked so well they just cruise slowly round pond anyone else tried out similar he said in japan dealers have air stones dropped in ponds at different depths

Wish I had but basically was a metre length of 1 inch pipe with an end cap one end and a 1/2 inch air hose tail the other and it had 6 stainless steel air taps with 6 mm hosetails on he attatched the different lengths of air pipe to each with a air stone on 1//2 can ones I’m going to order some air stones and line and make one sometime

Here’s one I’ve just knocked up with bits I had suppose you could change the ball valve for an end cap but it was already glued to that bit of pipe so might as well use it just need some 6 mm airline and air stones now IMG_0766.jpg

I drilled holes same size as threads on taps wrapped with plenty of thread tape and screwed in there a tight fit and no air escapes round joints

Didn't realise you were whitby way on mate think your the closest to me on here need lock down to finish and have a ride out down there and if course no trip to whitby is complete with out a stop at mister chips lol

Never mind the pond I want my fish and chips. If daves buying we ll go to the. Magpie at about 16 quid a shot last time I knew .. But mister chips is the best one going like
