Freddyboy’s just giving page.
Yes I did speak with Dale yesterday as he requested I have a look for some benches.
I found a really nice teak bench that I shared with him yesterday. The family all really like it.
https://www.memorialbenchesuk.co.uk/...-great-maytham
Family is happy for a forum message to be engraved/ carved on the bench and I am just waiting on dale to confirm if the family would also like a message As it’s possible to have it on the top and bottom bar.
I also emailed the bench company directly to enquire about having a koi carving on the bench
I provided this image as an example to them
They have replied and said they believe it would be possible but was going to check with the engraver and come back to me.
I am assuming that everyone is happy for me to take the lead on this?
Once all confirmed with the family we can have a group discussion on what message we would like on the bench (believe it’s 100 character limit)
Cost wise the bench is £495
Carving is £60 per rail
And if a custom image is added it’s £50 per image
They also do an outdoor cushion for £50
Not sure on delivery costs but I’m sure I see £30
Would be a total of around £745
If anyone else would like to also have a look around please do and let me know what they find.

Dale also confirmed the funeral date, I did not add it in the previous note as I just wanted to check he was happy for it to be shared on a public forum.
The date of the funeral is Friday 12th February for those who wanted to raise a glass
Thanks again for all who have donated! Currently at £875!!
And for those who haven’t that wanted to the page is still live and is accessible here

Frim ... I thought you might like to see the waterproof outdoor socket the previous owners of my house left in the bushes .....

This was actually on a hard wired spur from the house until I replaced it with a new proper IP66 socket today
Sleep well
