Dont know about koi master heaters but my electro has a high limit switch that trips if it gets blocked/too hot and has to be reset.
Anything like that on yours?
Other than that it would be testing stat and heater circuits with a multimeter for a fault. The Solution to Pollution is Dilution

Thanks yes that was it, i took the front off yesterday and there is a little red reset switch, seems a silly design to put that inside the internals rather than on the outside? Anyway all good now, but usure what cased it to trip out?

Most often can be caused by debris wrapped around element.
Particularly blanketweed or even silt, depending if at a low point.
Would need removing and checking/cleaning.
Not usually a problem if after filtration.
Very common if pumped filtration. The Solution to Pollution is Dilution

Seems strange for you to have to take it apart to reset. My heater has a 60c Thermal reset breaker in the case but I believe it’s the type that auto resets.

The later models it look like the reset is added to the outer shell, on mine you have to unscrew the face plate to get at it and push the red button, not sure if it should auto reset but did not in this case
