    Heating grow on cost?

Has anyone ever worked out the cost to heat their grow on tank over the course of a winter? Obviously I realise there’s a 101 factors but looking for a rough example to go off.My tank is 450 litres and in a garage which isn’t insulated, tank at the minute isn’t insulated but I have some spare 50mm celotex which I will use to wrap/surround the tank.
Temp wise I’m not looking to go crazy probably 15 degrees ish maybe? Just enough to keep the feed going in really
I’ve got a temp controller already and would be running 2x300w aquarium heaters
    Thanks in advance

What I would say is insulate everything, tank, filter, pipes worth an easy 3 degrees if not a bit more

600W worth of heaters for that is a bit overkill, but yea insulate, cover it especially if its 450 Litres you will find 225 litres of that on the ceiling in the morning

600 watts over 24 hrs will cost £2.67 ( based on average electrical cost) so that gives you a worse case costing

I have a 1300 litre grow on in a purpose built shed, it’s been held at 23.c for the past 2 months and is costing between 70p > £1 per day
