Uv failed in an RDF
I've got a Filtreau HF30 RDF
and I changed the float switch to gravity fed and switched the float to the clean side and inverted the float. The problem I have have is all is working well except the UV bulb only comes on during the cleaning cycle and does not stay on as it should??
Does any one know what the fix may be??
I did send this Question to Filtreau but as yet no answer I thought I would run it past you intellectual chaps as well?
Thanks Rob

If its only coming on during the cleaning cycle it sounds like you have it plugged into the wrong socket on the controller. Sounds like you have it plugged into either the motor or pressure pump socket. They are labelled.

Thank you for your comment, If only I was that daft, that would be a nice fix.
I have sent a video of the set up to the manufacturer. With the pugs in the correct sockets.
I’m thinking there are two floats on the float switch and one of them turns the light off during the cleaning cycle. So since I inverted the float switch! This is what is causing the issue.
I post there reply if I can get an answer?
