anyone removed the centre eazy from a nexus 310?
i've looked at the 320 kit upgrade instructions and it says "Unscrew the 9 screws at the base of the existingEAZY (these are located on the outside of theEAZY on the 310, and on the inside of the 210).If the EAZY is not screwed down, simply lift out"
anyone got any more info on this, or perhaps i'm being incredibly thick/blind/both (more than likely) but i can't find any screws on the thing or certainly not where i can get a screwdriver to.

mate it's ridiculous, if the screws are the ones down the very bottom of the thing, then it's defo not built for men to play with, perhaps a small child can get in and sort it out!
at the moment, i have 2 of the things sat on the drive, as we can't get them in the back garden.....

Lol
Your old man must know someone with a crane? If not, Ollie will undoubtedly have a mate with one

I keep coming back thinking someone's got some help for the numpty and it's your blathering! haha
But no, my mate reckons he's gonna build a structure on wheels.....
Problem is, can just about fit a wheelbarrow between corner of house and fence, so we have about 800mm width and have to get it above the 6ft fence, whilst 3/4 of the filter is hanging over next doors fence/garden.
Other option is to get it into the fields behind the house of which the gate is about 150ft up a, what feels like, 1:3 slope! haha

I did the upgrade on a 210, unless you want all the skin on your knuckles removed get a long Philips screwdriver, and I mean long. You need to get it down the side of your existing easy.

Just checked, when I did mine, it stated the screws on the 210 were on the inside and the 310 were on the outside, they have got in a*se about face, the screws on the 210 are on the outside and the inside on the 310, think you need to remove the K1 out of the centre to see them. Where as on the 210 it was a knuckle scraper getting between the easy and outer ring of the vortex.
It’s in typical EA fashion, get a product on the shelf and the user do the testing.

ahhhhh good work!!
was going to be removing the K1 this week anyway, all would've become clear and i wouldn't have made myself look a bigger numpty than normal.
appreciate the follow up.
