Gutted
Upgraded all my filters and bottom drain stopped working..found my liner is leaking .. may look at glass fibre depending on price.. anyone any recommendations of who does it? Ta

Oh dear. It’s a bad time of year to be fibreglassing, but if you can cover it well to protect from the rain and temperatures hold up then it might be doable.
Ken Alexander is on here, maybe worth getting in touch with him and see what he says?

Just took skimmer off and found water behind liner.. messed about with skimmer other week.. new skimmer ordered and will install it and see if it happens again..if it does I will have to glass fibre.. thanks feline for recommendation

Just an update... new skimmer added and patched..all water from under liner emptied and patched up yesterday and left to cure..just checked and loads of water under the liner again..had to rip the patch off.. I could cry 20201106_110927.jpg20201107_094110.jpg20201026_144018.jpg20201030_082951.jpg

Oh dear
I have to say I never found patching a great option in a pond when I had liners.
Would you not be better off just throwing in a cheaper liner in on top of the old one, sealing in your BD and skimmer and have the whole thing glassed in the summer?2016 new 6000 gallon pond

It has Ken yes..original fill was in summer so was none and the full pond pressure when filled kept the water out..just tried ringing but no answer

The patch worked and was doing it's job feline..the issue I have is ground water seeping through the walls under the liner and liftingbit..was first filled in summer so no water to leak under the liner and the full pond pressure has kept any out since

Finally getting there.. been about 8 months since I seen the boys.. back Monday to finish off then test for leaks on new filter house ...busy week ahead. Filters been in 8 months and still dry lol
