    23C wow that is toasty at this time of year! Would love to keep mine above 20C but I think the wife would go beserk when the bills came in! Plus is seems ludicrous to spend more heating the pond than I do the house!

    covers on and rolled up bubble wrap to fill the gaps between all the rocks.
    i'll have nice flat coping next year on the new pond, and 200mm of pir insulation all round

    it's a pity my garden isn't bigger....
    or i'd sheet over the full width of the garden with 35mm polycarbonate, insulate the fence with 4" celotex and heat the whole flippin' garden
    only had the pond out in the open for less than 4 months this year....
    radical new design for next year to allow the pond to be heated and open topped for at least 6 months....
