Microscope Problem
I’m have a parasite issue, which for me is quite a rare event. However, when I set up my my microscope, I see this,
355DF9B9-18B3-40A3-93A8-88AB1B7CD8CC.jpg
This is with no slide present. When I change magnification, the image doesn’t change, and although I normally use a phone mount, I also tried with the normal eyepiece, same thing. I have cleaned the light, lenses, eyepiece, and phone, but I cannot get a clear image. This is making scraping for parasites almost impossible, as it overlays everything and is always in focus, the problem must be deeper inside, but how can I solve this, so far I have used alcohol with a cotton bud, but this cannot reach deep enough? The microscope is a Brunel SP21.

I contacted Brunell via email a couple of weeks back and they replied within minutes. I would suggest that you ask them. Good luck.

Probably dirt on the prism. Out of focus.
Camera puffer to see if it will move first.
You can clean it using telescope optical cleaner. Optic wonder by Baader is great with the cloth - use it on my telescope etc also superb on glasses!
