Eazy pod vs Bakki shower
I’m going to add one of the above to my pond but I’m torn between the two.
I realise they both do different things but I’m not sure which my pond will benefit more from.
The main aim is for my to remove a box filter so I don’t have to keep cleaning sponges. My current set up runs fine but I’d just like to reduce maintenance.
The filter will be pump fed if that makes a difference.
Go easy if it’s a daft question, I’m relatively new to this

Bakki goes in the system after the filter, you can’t just pump from pond to a Bakki, your opening up a world of pain.

If you have the money for a baki I'd say improve your existing setup up with a drop in RDF for your box filter.
Your sponge section could then be converted into moving bed media section and you would now have a pretty much self cleaning filter with crystal clear water.

no worries it a Rotary Drum Filter
for a drop in go to the Draco Drum website .
Means if you have a existing filter simply connect it up and drop it in .
Trust me you'lll never go back. Those days of cleaning sponges, brushes etc never again
on my setup its draco in my vortex , multi bay as before when brushes were in vortex
Then on the waste I have a toilet macherator from plumb world connected to the waste outlet of the vortex then that goes in a pipe under my lawn to waste.
pretty much then operates itself
dont bung in a 800 quid bakki then spend 400 on momataro media
Go RDF then convert your sponge section to say K1 or underwater bakki media if you like matt etc.
honestly mate it will be like you have a different pond and that first day you come back from work on what would of been a " clean the multibay day" and you hear the drum going on it own is priceless !!!
