Hahahaha one man's well stocked is another man's overstocked

hahaha is there a thread on stocking.
I know they say so many gallons per inch of fish but then surely level of the equipment allows greater stocking level

so when is a pond "overstocked ?"
    1000 gal
    2 x Hozelock 6000ltr 9W UV
Allpond Spin Filter 8000 11W UV
    Blagdon pond oxy 640 ltr/hr

Yes I think if the water is good it's not too bad, it's running a nexus 310 with 250 lts of k1, a cetus seive, a home made 3 foot box seive, 2 skimmers floating type, and 2 100plm air pumps feeding 3, 8 inch air discs and a airlift moving about 10,000 ltrs a hour between sides of the pond, 2 bottom drains, and main pump is 20,000 lph vario pump, the filters seem to be coping, will add to system when I fiberglass and enlarge pond a bit

That's brilliant you can do that lol. Two seperate type halfs of the pond. That's my problem with the Rudd tench and orfs.
All in the same pond. There to sentimental to move on lol. Grand kids and all that. That's my excuse anyway. Also mate it just shows what can be done. With amount of fish and size. If you get your filters running right.
AJ sent me a picture of that ochiba last night lol . That started of in my grow on. Fed on OSW. And muscles. It's some size in a short period of time. A lovely fish.
So it goes to show how good that grub is.
Was that a ghost koi in there as well Steve.
    Miss my 2 chrome ghosties
