    Tosai Kujaku

Had been waiting a while to pick this little fish up from Gatwick Koi its been in quarantine for longer than usual due to some spawning and damage taking place, luckily not to my fish. It wasn't the biggest in the bowl but I like the sparse pattern (maybe unpopular opinion) and think it has a very interesting face pattern. Having done a bit of research I purposely opted for a slightly slimmer looking fish after reading and seeing Kujaku can get quite front heavy/chunky fairly easily, although right now it looks a bit too slim but after a few weeks of feeding I hope that will change. Fish is now in the pond and happily swimming around with others straight away which is good.

Not great at the photos so this is the best I could do for now!

Interesting idea about body shape, be interesting to see how that works in a couple of months time, might influence my buying decision

That looks lovely. A good choice I'd say.

Trust me, you won't recognise that fish in 3 months time, it will really fill out once you start piling the food in.

Looking forward to an end of summer before and after photo!
