Skin looks great.
The pattern is interesting.
Hazard a guess it might lose some of the yellow around the head over the course of a year or so. And fins might go completely white as well, which I think is a good thing.
Don't know about the body shape. I had one that shape and it filled out very well and now looks much more in proportion.

Nice fish, looks like it has a big head which in the carp fishing world often leads to a big fish.

So i won this fish and also another and paid for them and the shipping ....had a word with the dealer saying i might add to the order, he replied no worries .Then i began finishing my grow on pond so told him it will be a bit longer till i am ready to receive them ,once again he answered let me know when you want them .So i let him know he that could send them , his reply was that they died due to an electrical fault........i am in a quandary as to what to do now as he has refused refund me ...what do you think ..........phil

Regardless if you asked him to hold on to them, I would of thought a refund or a replacement would be fair. Plus you paid for shipment that wasn’t shipped? I think the guy is taking the piss abit he could at least offer you other fish but no refund. And if he lost a lot of fish then he should be forced to refund. He agreed to hold them. He wasn’t forced. That doesn’t seem fair to me. Hope you get a better result bud !

If you paid by debit or credit card the first thing I would do is make a chargeback claim - you need to do this ASAP as there are time limits: see https://www.money.co.uk/guides/charg...money-back.htm

It’s a bit of a legal grey area this when it comes to fish.
The law accepts that livestock is not like a cardboard box on a warehouse shelf. By agreeing to hold on to a fish owned by someone else, with all the associated costs of feeding, filtration, water, heating, the dealer/person does not necessarily accept liability for death. Sickness, injury and death are considered the risk all livestock keepers take. If they were in some way negligent in the way they looked after your fish it would be different, but this is hard to prove.
I believe the koi that buyers choose to leave out in Japan in the breeders ponds are not guaranteed in any way. You have to accept the risk that they might not come back out of that mud ponds the following year. Sometimes an alternative fish is offered as a goodwill gesture etc.
There would be no harm in trying a credit card refund etc. Was this is eBay purchase or from somebody with a proper registered company?2016 new 6000 gallon pond
