Going shopping for new fish is exciting,
Like a child in a sweet shop

However, there's a need to be sensible.
You have posted about various problems with a very new setup, it's normal to have teething issues with a new pond.
Its also normal to limit the number and size of fish.

Availability of cheap fish doesn't mean they should be treated as a sacrificial whim.

You really need to listen to the advice.
