    Rdf

Does anyone on here have a installation video of a stand alone RDF being Installed.
I'm thinking of incorporating into my suction pit.

Chances are you would be better off rebuilding your pond with several 4 inch drains to gravity feed a drum filter.

Anyhow? Why would you need a drum filter if your water is already crystal clear.

My BD is 3 inch, do RDFs not have 3 inch suction and discharge lines?
    Pretty clean right now

Clear water doesn’t mean it’s clean you only have to see the level of ur nitrite and ammonia to tell you that

My ammonia has been at zero for the last two days, nitrites and nitrates above normal but not at an alarming level
    I don't have a water problem.

You have a big spike to come yet takes weeks to mature not days. Even my discus tank which I did a fish less cycle using pure ammonia took 6-8 weeks and ponds take longer. I’m afraid it’s gonna get a lot worse before it gets better

Unfortunately I am a complete novice, so really didn't have a clue what to do going forward.
I'm learning everyday new tricks, so hopefully I can get up to speed before the tiles fall off the pond walls

You’re wasting your breath Rudedog, we told him this ages ago.
I think he’s one of those troll bot things that pop up on forums every so often to cheese people off and generate traffic, can’t be a real person as a real person wouldn’t be as stupid.
I’m bored of him/it now, it’s not even funny (apart from the bit about Frim being a Telly Savalas lookalike when in reality, he’s more Brian May/Kevin Keegan).
I probably was underestimating the idiot thing in truth.

I think it is now past DB's bedtime as Thailand is 6 hours in front of the UK.

He'll be having nightmares about ever joining this site.

Jeez, be prepared to be spammed to death at 3am then.
Maybe he's suffering PTLD (Post Traumatic Ladyboy Ddisorder). I know I'd suffer it if I reached downstairs and grabbed more than I bargained for, but hey, it takes all sorts, someone must like it
