Thread: Huge thanks to Gazkoi, now that's customer service !

Praise where praise deserved, been waiting a few weeks for the courier to get its act together in order for Gary to send my fish that i purchased with him, today was finally the day of delivery, last night Gary phoned rather upset as you can imagine as the courier had collected 6 boxes of fish yesterday from him for delivery today including mine and then was informed last night by the courier that they were now unable to deliver the fish !! so Gary travelled to the couriers last night to collect his 6 boxes and then got up at 3am this morning and drove down south to personally deliver his fish including mine which i think is outstanding customer service and just shows his commitment, sure you will all agree he is a top guy and the forum has benefitted greatly with his knowledge and genuine helpfulness......appreciate it works both ways but big thanks to you Gary it was a pleasure to meet you today and look forward to further transactions, all the best Steve.

Pictures to follow, fish at bottom of pond so no pictures as yet, Doitsu Gin matsuba and Kujaku purchased, Tosai around 15 / 16cm, Will picture soon, sorry sadly no Chagoi as it marked itself in a few places when delivered to Gary....

After a 525 mile round trip, 4 drop offs and 13 hours later I am finally home.

It was great to meet you too and I am delighted you are pleased with the Koi.

It is a shame about the Chagoi, however I always look to put the customer before the sale and I genuinely believe this was the best outcome in the circumstances. When I next have one in that meets your requirements I will give you a shout and see whether you are still on the lookout.

I hope to see you again in the future and look forward to assisting you again in the future.

On a serious note - I concur with the earlier comments that your personal delivery, over such a long distance, is excellent customer service. Nice one
