Water noise causing stress?
Sounds like a stupid question!...but I have recently moved my equipment into a new shed. I have a pump fed system with a gravity return pipe. This pipe returns the water below the surface at quite a rate. Air is drawn down the pipe which bubbles out into the pond...This is ok.
However every 45 seconds or so, there is a build up of air and it burbles and blasts out...its quite noisy. I have literally created a Geyser
I can hear it from my bedroom....should I worry about this causing stress? I dont see any change in my kois behaviour ...what do you think?

On your return pipe. Insert a T with an outlet pointing straight up. Add a length of pipe to it like a snorkel and the trapped air will come out there rather than gurgling
