    Thanks Fred,
It was due to be rebuilt this year 2ft longer 3ft wider and 2ft deeper by going up 2ft out of the ground.

But that doesn't look like it's going to happen this year now...

Think it is a Hariwake Rs allways loved the yellow/white pattern and yes the Bekko are really nice, used to love the Shiro utsuri but moved onto the Bekko now.

Not sure on the orange/black but it is actually brown/black and I have a load of them.
Going to keep this one to see what it turns out like.

Painted the pond today, had some beers and then sat by the window watching them swimming around for an hour or two, what a lovely day, Barney was chilled out in the sun too, some pictures are a bit glarey due to the sunshine...

Looks great mate and you've got yourself some nice quality koi as well, they all look top notch.

Funnily enough painted my pond today as well. Sanded down all the sleepers smooth and then varnished them. Not so much for the aesthetics because I like the natural wood look, just done it to stop rot and make them last longer. Got sun burn on my neck now.

Hi all if you watch these 2 videos (hopefully links work) the first one was taken 2 days ago after the recording i put the jap matting and filter wool sandwich in my nexus you can see the clarity has improved but still got fines in there! So here's my question been toying with the idea of a drop in Draco into the nexus like Freds but i'm pump fed would the Draco be able to get rid of the fines ?

Would love to change to gravity fed but can't justify ripping all the decking up plus the Colonel would have a fit

    Colin

Not the best photo as it's hard to handfeed and take a pic at the same time!

Sanke coming up for his weekly treat of mussels (but he much prefers mealworm).

Drum is great mate, hasn't missed a beat.

Up till this morning clean frequency was still beyond its 99 minute counter, but I messed around cleaning inside the Nexus and a load of dirt escaped and it was cleaning every 26 minutes after that for the rest of the day. It'll go down to around 8 minutes in peak summer.

Well worth saving up for one (except mine was on interest free credit card and its not quite paid off yet).
