Good evening everyone, its been a long time since I was on here!
Lots of new members I see! Nice to get a bit of sunshine for a change instead of flooding, cold winds and rain!

Just wanted to say I hope you are all keeping safe and well away from people. On a positive note it gives us more time to tend to our koi!

It is a really scary time at the moment which I fear many folk are not taking seriously. My colleagues in ED are battling against the pressures, unfortunately I'm not able to work at the moment! Isolated and due to have a baby boy tomorrow!

Anyway, hope you are all ok. Self isolation with your Koi?

    Thanks guys,
Koi are all doing well, seem to have got a happy medium on stocking and parasite problems. Will be nice to see the koi all uncovered once weather has settled.

Seems our gardens are going to be our sanctuaries in the coming weeks.

Once boyo arrives will put a pic on. Next generation of koi keepers in the making Self isolation with your Koi?

Self isolation with your Koi?Self isolation with your Koi? Sorry Anne! no sign of him yet. I’ve been in hospital since yesterday having various drugs. Just been told Pete might not be allowed to come back coz of this virus, not happy. We were told when we got here that he could come back for the birth but now it seems we had been told wrong. He had nothing with him for overnight stays plus the dogs need looking after. Hopefully find out later if he can. Hoping they let him back in time for the birth.

Blimey I hope Pete is allowed back in that's just awful if he isn't. They wouldn't be so heartless would
they especially as they already know he's '' The Daddy '' and cant miss his sons birth.
I keep getting the urge to say breath and push...……………..weird ....................Good luck.

How are you managing with work AJ? Im off with my Son who is severely handicapped with complex needs, Wife is off as well as school is shut and there doesn't seem to be anything out there from the government regarding carers and I haven't been able to gather any info either.

Ok up to now, not venturing out, apart from shopping which we don't really want to do, be there are no delivery slots available, My parents in their 80's are a major concern though, they're not grasping the dangers that are out there.

hi fred, well been back two weeks, weathers been great, fish seem to be hungry after 10 weeks away, taking a few handfuls a day,

bloody key worker thing is annoying (im not a medic, bin man, shop worker etc), trying to get out of it. but my 8 weeks off has been cut short and wanted in Oz asap, to spend 14 days in a hotel room before rejoining the vessel. Other half is also key so, im providing the child care, though how I can be looking after my two and yet the nursery still wants 25% of the fees and still gets the government cash is beyond me.
