So what additions do you have planned for 2020?
Hoping to stock up the pond this year my wish list is
Asagi - arriving soon my favourite.
Shusui
Goshiki
Chagoi
Showa
Kujaku
Linear mirror
Going to purchase 18cm - 28cm range to help with funds but also to watch growth and development which is part of the fun, since July 2019 we have had 8 fish, the best growing fish has to be the Sakuma Maratan Kohaku which my wife chose at last years koi show (she only reminds me once a week) its grown around 8 / 10 cm since we have had it, was 10inch now around 13/14 inch...

loving that the ghost has found its way to the top of the list after earlier discussions and them coming up!
for me I want to make sure I don't go mad as its a new pond however the wish list currently is:
Hi utsuri
Showa
kin ki utsuri
these are the ones I am keen for at the moment, then the following I haven't decided 100% on but definitely like the idea:
kujaku
ochiba
asagi - strangely these were one of the first koi I was really keen for but I have gone off them a bit more recently, I think the ones I have seen in shops haven't done much for me and so I have lost interest a little in them.
I think the main thing I need to do is go to a shop with some fresh Tosai in and pick fish that I like rather than have a hit list though!I wasn't bothered by showa until recently then I noticed the lack of red in my pond and I have started to like them a lot!

I'm pretty stuck on buying anymore fish until I build a bigger pond.
For some reason I'm not really struck on yellow or gold koi...
Though that may change in time...
So my list will then go something like this
Showa (another one)
Budo goromo
Gin matsuba
Gin Rin chagoi
Another Sanke
And maybe one like these fully scaled beauties that were just stocked into a friends syndicate lake.

The advert I’ve just been shown before this is for “the ultimate survival tool”...great marketing under the circumstances, I’ve ordered 3, some stab vests and a couple of crash helmets.
