Buy a liner bottom drain with the plastic fitting ring to match the bd. Make, buy, scavrngr something for enough 10mm spacers to match yhe screw holes. Then block glue/sealant a larger diameter sheet of plastic to the fitting ring. That would make a new flat diffuser to match the upside Down bd.

    AJM,

Or just use a 4 inch Uniseal, that's what they are for. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/132018049866 Cut a 5 inch hole, fit a 4 inch uniseal, push 4 inch pipe into top.

    AJM,

If you are just needing something temporary push fit should be OK if it was just inside the pond, Uniseals however are designed for industrial processes and can be a permanent solution. Outside of the pond I would be more wary, although for a temporary solution Flexseal EPDM rubber connectors allow you to take things apart.

Have a play about with the bits in front of you. You'll figure something out.

Just use a 4" flanged tank connector and the Retro Drain bottom plate & spacers.
