Thread: Koi plans for 2015
-
02-01-2015, 10:36 PM #61I'm in no way saying I'm right but I love the idea of growing big Koi because it's the only non subjective measure of whether I'm doing ok keeping them.
Is it pretty? Does it have nice skin? Is the pattern nice? Is the body shape good? I have no real clue and it appears to me if you ask ten people you'll get ten different answers.
Even at the highest standard do all judges always agree? I don't think so.
However, does it come to line 80 or line 70 on the measure? No debate!
I like that a lot.
My better half says I'm mildly autistic, I think she's probably right (to be clear I am not poking fun at autism here). I like black and white, right and wrong answers, not grey (gray) areas.

my aim is 70cm end of this year, 80cm next....
