hi everyone , new member , have 7000gl pond running off 2 bd to vortex to aquadyne 4.4 , was thinking of adding heatpump this year and bakki shower , any ideas if shower would work well after aquadyne as i dont really want to add 2nd pump for shower pump is badu top 12

heat pump will give you healther fish but can be expense to run not to sure about shower sorry cannot help you to much .and welcome to this great site

hi i was told heat pump is very economical to run ,if i buy a 15 kw one which is oversized ,was told wouldnt have to stay on so long ,mainly wanting to heat in summer for growth any thoughts

I haveti say it does work out a lot dont b fouled that running a heat pump will b cheap you r looking around 75pounds a month a lest but worh it

My Heat Pump costs more in summer than winter. Once the covers are off you start paying. I spend about £35's a month for my 10,000 galls pond if I want to heat to +5°C above ambient.

Thats good my pond is set up at14 all year round covered in
Winter till march, cover off untill October and I pay 200every 3months up front and 50
Extra a month
7000gallons

Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
