hi everyone im not new to keeping koi but havnt had a pond for 15 yrs but im 80% though building my new one and its looking good 16 ft long 12 ft wide and 4 ft deep im a keen gardener and so my new pond is very much informal lot of sweeping curves and designed around mature shrubs and plants and also borders my decking close to the house ,i fitted the linner on sat and its holding water fine , cant wait to get it finished but can only do a cement mix after work so slowly getting there

Are you going for a raised or sunken pond?

Good luck with it, a pond makes a mature garden complete.

my pond is dense concrete block built with two deep below ground level and one block above ,three blocks deep then carved deeper into the ground clay it all sweeps down from all around into a 4 ft sump hole , been at it tonight planting up around the areas that have been finished also got my pump today a force hybrid 10000 ltr ph tested it to empty a foot or now the linner is settled
