Picture of the Month (May)

right i know its abit late but lets give this idea of mine a go for this month and see how it goes. any one can put 1 picture up of there own koi and at the end of the month i will start a poll on the fish that have been put up. and then the winner will get a logo on there profile saying picture of the month winner. so here is mine to start with. mark

Its a shame there's what looks like reflection on the second photo as it would be a very nice library stock photo for a koi book or the like :cool:
What size is the window jason?

Sounds silly but i worked for a pro lab that developed film for the pro photographers and i know they used to use hairspray on reflective surfaces ?
there is a product but not sure of its name.

You have to ...they come and meet you whenever you walk to the pond...they watch the kids playing in the garden...just awesome m8

I got the window all in for £200.....Ned did a bit of welding to get a lintel added but the glass and frame was cheap to have fabricated locally...PM me for any details

Difficult one that as she is now in the main pond, So will hopefully she will improve her muscle shape more than actual growth. Size potential maybe another 5cm over the next six months.

personally if all goes well i think the next 12 months will show her real quality.

I am no expert, just a keen hobbyist. I had two from the same Grow n Show. Both very nice but this is the best one in my opinion. But like all things in Koi, anything can happen .. :)

I was a bit overwhelmed by the the result to be honest. Not my style to do shows n stuff normally. But I do like Grow n Shows and online competitions. No stress for the fish and we call enjoy the fish geeking whenever we want to. :)

right you need to click on manage attachments near the bottom of the page when writing a post and then find the picture you want then click upload then close and submit. if it says its to big you will have to resize it.

This is the last photo that I took of him and that I sold it on to some 1 else early on last year
Treatments that I used Iodine, dilated, Malachite Green, and 2% gentian violet and sealed with Lock “n” seal plus with bee propolis
