    Thanks john,
same here putting a few in a seed tray this weekend.

in all honesty they are not the biggest seeds this year, due to the neglect of pond building.
but will hopefully germinate ok next year

    next spring mate,
as in the video they need stratification to help germinate,
so left out in the cold all winter and kept moist.

And this is the other parent plant of the seeds,
    AP Osakazuki

though the seeds themselves will most likely not be identical to either tree.
because they may have been pollenated by a different maple, they will probably be a hybrid.

some of mine don't have seeds either, of those that do they had to get to a decent size before they produced any.
and some seem to fruit every other year bi annually...
most varieties are grafted, and it may be that some of these don't bear seeds...

Was up at a friend's house a couple of weeks ago and noticed his lovely green Acer had loads of seeds on it,so he let me have some and now planted in a separate tray next to yours Dave.

Be interesting to see what happens in the spring.
