This plant has appeared from nowhere, all I can assume is it’s come with a Lilly or something but it’s now growing like mad
Is it good or bad and what even is it please

    Any help will be great

If it is then it's an oxygenator that is native to the UK.

No idea as I just Googled water plants and that looked the closest to what you have in your photos. Now you have a name maybe just do the same and see if you think it's the same thing. There are a few different versions of it from what I found.

    No worries

The only thing that didn't add up was the flowering time of year but different versions had longer or different durations which could be the correct version.

But as long as you can keep it under control and it's an oxygenator then it can't be too bad to have in your pond I'm guessing.

The only time I would say I'm green fingered BTW is when I have been clearing the blanket weed out of the pond filters or off the pump in the pond LOL

Download one of the free plant app's like plantsnap or Candide. All you do then is take a picture of a plant and the app will identify it for you.
