    forgot to add. you definatley need a bottom drain. I never had one on my last pond. but on my new pond I had one installed. I believe its a must. there brill. but like you small steps at a time. have a good un fred

    Into that , at minute I’m doing water Changes but not treating water with anything my fish are only 3” at min , with regard to bottom
    Drain I don’t plan on installing 1 untill potentially next year once I’ve got through winter and I’m happy and confident .... thanks for your advice Fred !
