introduction
Hi All
Been lurking for a while new pond build underway thought I better introduce myself.
Had a couple of ponds over the years got into it due to my dad.
First one was an 8ft by 10ft 3ft6" deep just above ground pond with a submerged pump and standard foam filter.
Then following a divorce and house move to a much smaller house and garden built a small ground level pond 15ft long 4ft wide. Not ideal but looked good in the garden again no bottom drain but an easy pod.
Following a move this year I managed to keep the fish and they are currently in a largish paddling pool 2 x 3 meters 750mm deep.
New pond is well underway see build thread started today but 3m x 4 m x 1.6m deep.
Aside from keeping Koi I am into triathlon and have complete 3 Ironman's.
Tried again this year my first since a Liver transplant 3 years ago due to acute liver failure the cause of which has never been established all happened in a few months.
Didn't complete the ironman as failed to make cutoff time but will be trying again next year.
Already got lots of advise tips etc from this site looking forward to getting and sharing any I discover.
