Thread: Hi from Ireland

    Hi from Ireland

    Hi,
Signed up here a year ago but have never posted!
I've had a pond a good few years and keep a small planted tropical tank.
Have a new pond in the works so want to ask a few questions and get some advice.

    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks guys.
    I'm from Kildare.
Loads of nice fish/ponds on here.
I dont see many liner ponds though ?

As I said about I'm waiting to sign contracts on my new house which has loads of room compared to my current place.
I need to get into the new house and get a feel for the garden before I can really decide what to do but Im really into more natural looking ponds.
We are really into plants also!

I might just start a new thread but I see there is a lot of "what filter" allready.
    Room for one more?

I would start yourself a built thread and put all your details on there, if you put what you are doing, rough size you are thinking and as many photos as you can of the garden, people on here will be able to give you some good pointers and suggestions.

Don't worry about not actually building anything at the moment it will give you some ideas and keep them all in one place. if you look at Frims QT tank build he is over 1300 posts and he hasn't opened the garage door yet , so there is no time limit to get started

    Thanks Roy!
I actually just put up a few questions there.
Its a pain because I don't have access to the new house!
Buying a house and I've only seen it twice.
I think i'd be mad to make plans before getting a feel for the place but I will look at equipment.

This will be my 3rd pond

I was quite lucky when I bought my house as it was empty, so I managed to get the keys from the estate agent and do a full survey of the house and garden, then spent the next few days drawing up the plans for extensions, alterations etc, etc

This is my 3rd and last pond at this house, I'm not moving again
