Make sure to read over as many pond builds as possible and write every thing down I didn't and didn't research anything even close to what I should . Pond is not even finished and already am planning on ripping all out . Didn't do bottom drain or skimmer mid returns showers . Going back over is going to cost me more money more stress on the fish I have moving them to temp pond and more time not enjoying my fish the way I should be its lesson learnt ask the boys and girls on here the knowledge is unbelievable and some one will always know a way around a problem. Andikoi always has some thing up his sleeve

agree good advice from AJM. that's another reason I went from in ground pond to raised pond. plus windows. for the grandkids. I had 20 years of having to lock doors and and having to stand with them
and hold there hands. now just let the new grand kids loose. they cry now to come to grandads house for the pond and fish. they also have there own little nets for fishing. love it. they stand for hours dangling there nets in the pond.
I took my covers of during the week. our Ellis went nuts because he could nt go fishing haha. to cold I told him he was having none of it. so muggings here went out with him to fish. it was blowing a gale and freezing.
aaaahhhhhhh to keep them happy.

It wont take anywhere near ten minutes to pick my brains Martin I will let you know when I am going to be home and we can make arrangements. I have pm'd the list I mentioned of my pipe and fittings that I needed when doing my pond and although not conclusive it will give you an idea.
